  • Who We Are

The Asian Partnership Initiative (API) is committed to strengthening churches and Christian communities in Asia. We believe in walking alongside believers at all levels of society, whether in rural villages or urban centers, among the illiterate to the highly educated, or those struggling for basic survival to those seeking opportunities for growth.

    Who We Are
  • Our Vision

To see self-sustaining, thriving Christian communities that are spiritually strong, socially empowered, and economically independent.

    Our Vision
  • Our Mission

Our mission is to equip, empower, and elevate Christians so they can live with dignity, purpose, and hope. We catalyse efforts to break cycles of poverty, create opportunities, and strengthen faith—not just for today, but for generations to come.

    Our Mission

    Our Approach

We go beyond temporary solutions. API invests in long-term, systemic transformation at every level of society.

    Focus Areas

At API, we believe true transformation happens when every aspect of a person’s life is nurtured. Our work is rooted in five key focus areas that address the spiritual, social, and economic challenges faced by Christian communities across Asia. Whether it’s empowering local churches, equipping future leaders, fostering economic independence, or rebuilding lives after crisis—our holistic approach ensures that no one is left behind. Together, these pillars form the foundation of thriving, self-sustaining Christian communities.

Pakistan, with over 240 million people, is the world’s second-largest Muslim-majority country. Christians, who make up about 2% of the population, have faced marginalization and persecution. However, a new movement is emerging as young Christians break free from poverty, pursuing education, careers, and business opportunities.

The Pakistan Partnership Initiative (PPI), an implementing partner for API in Pakistan, works with churches and development organizations to uplift Christian communities, fostering unity and delivering measurable impact.

    Testimonies of Trust

Hear PPI partners—churches, organizations, and individuals—share how collaboration has led to real, lasting change. Their stories are a testament to the trust, transformation, and shared vision we’re building together.

Every time we gather, there’s a tangible sense of God’s presence—rooted in unity and faith. PPI’s efforts to foster mutual respect among Church leaders—both within and beyond denominational lines—are truly remarkable. It’s creating a culture of togetherness the Church in Pakistan deeply needs

    Head of KOG Churches

Our collaboration with PPI has revealed something powerful: true impact isn’t just about achieving a vision—it’s about walking together. PPI not only pursues its mission, but also strengthens the capacity of others, ensuring every partner contributes to their full potential for a greater purpose.

    Director, SALT

PPI is doing outstanding work in bringing Christian organizations together to tackle key challenges facing the Churches in Asia. It’s a space where like-minded leaders connect, uplift one another, and unite in planning for long-term impact. The relationships formed here lead to strategic action and lasting transformation across communities.
